Introduction to Gnome:

GNOME is a free and open-source desktop environment for Unix-like operating systems. GNOME was originally an acronym for GNU Network Object Model Environment, but the acronym was dropped because it no longer reflected the vision of the GNOME project.

Follow the same steps. In tasksel manager deselect the environments which you want to delete.

In lock screen’s right side bottom, settings shaped icon was added now. Here choose the environment which you want  and enjoy.

How to add icon:

In gnome desktop there is no inbuilt option for adding icons. So you want to add gnome extensions for adding icons.
